Quick Review: Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals

A few days ago Katrina Chua (Marketing Director) of Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals sent me a goodie bag to review. Krave is a Philippine brand of mineral make up and organic skin care products that are all formulated and manufactured in the US.

They sent me a Fruittie Poreless toner spray, Organic Liquid Foundation in Ricotta, Luxurious Perfection loose mineral foundation in Cafe Melange, Blush Crush with Kosher rice powder in Pink Muffin and Triple P Fruit Masque.

I like that Krave products are gentle and organic, will definitely suit most skin types unless you are allergic to mineral makeup then I wouldn’t suggest you trying it. Will give it a week then give you an in-depth review of each product they’ve sent me.

For now, do visit their Facebook page to know more about Krave. (:

DIY: Lipstick Palette

This is a really great for those who are starting to build their freelance makeup kit on a budget (like me) and wants to travel with all your lipsticks without taking a bunch of tubes with you! (Thank you Marlena of Makeup Geek!)

Just watch the video below.

I got the empty “palette” from Saizen for only P85 each! It’s actually an accessory case and I think these are more durable than the Japonesque one, way cheaper too! The round stickers are from Office Warehouse/any supply store priced at P20+ I think and you get 320 stickers. That’s a lot! :P So ye, hope this was helpful for those who are planning to make their own palette and let me know how it goes! (:

ps: Be very careful not to burn yourself cos it hurts! LOL

pss: Before starting, make sure you sanitize/disinfect everything with 99% alcohol or whichever works for you, especially the lipsticks cos you will be using it on other people and you don’t want them to catch anything.

psss: NO double dipping! Use a spatula to scrape some of the lipstick and put it on your mixing plate or a cd would work just fine as a mixing plate.
