Everyday Quick Face Routine

Not everyone is born with nice skin and cannot not wear makeup everyday, even if you’re lazy like me, you still have a simple routine to make your skin look flawless, right?

My routine changes from time to time, but for the moment this is what I do especially that my skin broke out like crazy and I’m trying to cover blemishes, thank God for Skin101, my skin is slowly getting better. But ye, I definitely do not go through a complicated routine cos I’m always on the go. This routine suits our weather too, might be raining from time to time but it’s mostly hot and humid here in the Philippines and I like to do something that I can literally do in a few minutes!

So daily, I opt for this routine that requires basically no complicated skills of any sort. And the best bonus of all is that it looks natural and covers just as well as liquid foundation!

ps: this ain’t easy! Kudos to YouTube makeup gurus! (and the like)

Sigma and Coastal Scents Haul

Just in time for my MDA class. Will post my temp kit next!

Quick Review: Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals

A few days ago Katrina Chua (Marketing Director) of Krave Minerale Cosmeceuticals sent me a goodie bag to review. Krave is a Philippine brand of mineral make up and organic skin care products that are all formulated and manufactured in the US.

They sent me a Fruittie Poreless toner spray, Organic Liquid Foundation in Ricotta, Luxurious Perfection loose mineral foundation in Cafe Melange, Blush Crush with Kosher rice powder in Pink Muffin and Triple P Fruit Masque.

I like that Krave products are gentle and organic, will definitely suit most skin types unless you are allergic to mineral makeup then I wouldn’t suggest you trying it. Will give it a week then give you an in-depth review of each product they’ve sent me.

For now, do visit their Facebook page to know more about Krave. (:

DIY: Lipstick Palette

This is a really great for those who are starting to build their freelance makeup kit on a budget (like me) and wants to travel with all your lipsticks without taking a bunch of tubes with you! (Thank you Marlena of Makeup Geek!)

Just watch the video below.

I got the empty “palette” from Saizen for only P85 each! It’s actually an accessory case and I think these are more durable than the Japonesque one, way cheaper too! The round stickers are from Office Warehouse/any supply store priced at P20+ I think and you get 320 stickers. That’s a lot! :P So ye, hope this was helpful for those who are planning to make their own palette and let me know how it goes! (:

ps: Be very careful not to burn yourself cos it hurts! LOL

pss: Before starting, make sure you sanitize/disinfect everything with 99% alcohol or whichever works for you, especially the lipsticks cos you will be using it on other people and you don’t want them to catch anything.

psss: NO double dipping! Use a spatula to scrape some of the lipstick and put it on your mixing plate or a cd would work just fine as a mixing plate.

All Natural with Human Nature

This is a backlog, sorry. Last month I received a package from Human Nature (c/o Sara Brillantes, Marketing Associate) to review and of course I have to test them out that’s why it took me this long to post. But ye, thanks so much Ms. Sara! (:

The products they sent me were the Healthy Lotion in Berry Bliss and Aloe Fresh Deodorant. Was a bit skeptical on trying the deodorant actually cos I hate roll-ons cos they take time to dry and usually stain clothes; but of course for my lovely readers I was willing to give it a go!

Healthy Lotion in Berry Bliss

First impression on the lotion:

  • The scent reminds me of Flintstones vitamins! Lav et!
  • It’s not greasy, my skin soaked up the lotion instantly, very light and you really feel that your skin is moisturized and soft. I think this lotion really fits our weather perfectly, just wish it has spf.
  • Infused with naturally powerful ingredients like their bestselling miracle sunflower oil.
  • Priced at P64.75 for 50ml and P199.75 for 200ml, your health doesn’t have to cost the earth.
  • NO CONS, other than the lack of spf.
Aloe Fresh Deodorant

First impression on the deodorant:

  • It smells refreshing and not overpowering like the other commercial deodorants out there.
  • Offers protection from unpleasant body odor and underarm darkening, but not sweating since it’s not anti-perspirant. Doesn’t bother me cos my pits don’t sweat a lot.
  • Alcohol-free, aluminum-free, paraben-free, parfum-free, and glycol-free.
  • Again, infused with naturally powerful ingredients like their bestselling miracle sunflower oil for smoother, softer, lighter-looking underarms.
  • Priced at P89.75, not bad at all!

Overall I really enjoyed using the products they sent me (not just because they’re free) but they’re really good! I would totally recommend Human Nature to everyone!
