Ready to get Naked, again?

Yes, Urban Decay did it again! They’ve come out with Naked2! Another win or no? What do you guys think?

Comparison and Swatches

Naked (top) | Naked2 (bottom)
I think there’s not much of a difference between the two, personally, I like Naked more than Naked2 just cos Naked2 is all shimmer but the packaging, huge mirror, dual-ended brush and gloss are all great though! Overall, I don’t think I’d get this palette or need it since I’m already happy with my Naked palette. But for those who loves collecting Urban Decay palettes, I’m sure you won’t pass out on this one! This would make an awesome gift too. (:

MAC Fall 2011

Here are two Fall 2011 collections that I’m excited about!

MAC Posh Paradise

Launch Date: September 15th, 2011 for U.S./Canada, October 2011 for International
I love mattine lipsticks! And that pale gold polish (Immortal Gold)! Will wait for the swatches first then decide on what to get.

MAC Matchmaster Foundation SPF15

Launch Date: September 22nd, 2011 for U.S./Canada, September 2011 for International (Except Asia), September 2012 (Asia)
“With our all races credo, we’re redefined what a perfect match should be with new Matchmaster Foundation SPF 15 technoloigy, using translucent pigments to create a formula that enables a fully personalized finish influenced by the subtleties of your own skin tone. Adding to Matchmaster’s true-to-life appeal is its moisturizing demi-matte finish, medium buildable coverage, and line-reducing soft focus powders. Add the fact that this formula reduces excess shine-creating oil, and who could resist?”

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. 4

Yes.. another Book of Shadows is coming your way! I love Urban Decay but I just don’t like their BOSs cos they’re too big and bulky! I hope that they make it simpler like the other palettes; the NAKED palette. But ye.. I just got their 15th Anniversary palette (which is also big like this) but I can’t pass on that one! The colors are just so pretty and UD is known for their awesome pigmented shadows! I can’t wait for my palette to arrive!!! (Thanks Ate Pia for the hook up! Hihi)
Ok back to BOS Vol. 4… The Book of Shadows Vol. IV features more than ever before: it comes with a smart-phone-ready ‘Get the Look’ tutorials and a pocket-sized speaker. A pull-out drawer showcasing 16 phenomenal shadows (10 of which are brand-new, exclusive to this collection), a full-sized version of our new 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner in Perversion (blackest black), travel-sized Supercurl Curling Mascara, travel-sized Eyeshadow Primer Potion and a mirror.
I’m pretty sure all y’all BOS lovers out there are going gaga by now! Good luck on the hunt!

MAC Me Over

MAC is releasing 8 lipsticks in the MAC Me Over Collection (International – Sept. 2011 | Online – Aug. 23 | US – Aug. 25) and I’m in love with 4! Yeap, I’m a lipstick junkie! And the reason I love MAC lipsticks so much is because they are vanilla-scented!!! They have an awesome range of colors and finishes too. Here are my picks:
Peachstock (natural peach) a light-medium beige with the warmth of peach. This shade has a satin finish, and it is permanent at PRO stores.
Dint get this back then cos the counter dint have a tester and I was afraid I might look ghostly. (Give Me Liberty of London Collection)
Prince Noir (deep blue-purple) this shade has a matte finish.

Rebel (vivid pinkish purple) a rich burgundy with a fuchsia shimmer and vibrancy. This shade has a satin finish, and it is permanent.

Smoked Purple (deep eggplant purple) a dark eggplant purple with cool undertones. This shade has a matte finish, and it is permanent at PRO stores.

MAC Prep + Prime Future Length Lash Serum

MAC Prep + Prime Future Length Lash Serum

U.S. Launch Date: July 14th, 2011
International Launch Date: August 2011
($30.00 U.S. / $36.50 CDN) (Permanent)

The latest addition to our successful Prep + Prime family is a new Patented formula that promotes natural lash growth for longer, thicker, stronger-looking lashes, with dramatic results visible in eight weeks when used twice daily. Designed to enhance over time, this breakthrough patent-pending treatment delivers a measurable, visible difference. Apply a thin line of serum to the base of the upper and lower lashes on clean, dry skin, morning and evening, and watch what happens. from this day forward, there is no looking back!

I’d give this one a shot, still hopeful that my long lashes will return after a bad lash extension experience, huhuhu! I’ve tried three serums before, namely: ModelCo Lash & Brow Growth Stimulator, L’Oreal Lash Boosting Serum and Ardell Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator.. and I think ModelCo really worked ‘cept that it stings when I use it. The L’Oreal and Ardell ones just conditioned my lashes, dint lengthen them and whatnot. So ye, I’m looking forward to this product and hope it will work! Heard RapidLash, LiLash and Latisse are really good, BUT really expensive as well. Any thoughts? If you’ve tried other brands, please share your experience -I’d love to hear from you. And would you try this?

Cha Cha Cha!

Coming in June, Benefit Cha Cha Tint ($29.00 for 0.42 fl. oz.) is described as a “mango-tinted lip & cheek stain”. This is a great product for summer months when the weather gets hot, activities head outdoors, and traveling picks up. It wears all day as a soft, peachy flush and really does look natural–just as a stain should.
