On-the-go Makeup

As requested: I often wear very little makeup on a daily basis since I can’t do full-face makeup at work and I choose not to, I like to let my skin breathe. I only wear powder/liquid foundation when I go out or have to go somewhere where I need to look a bit done and polished. So ye, here are my everyday go to products: lip stain, tinted brow wax, eye brightener and SPF. And sometimes I really just go bare + SPF. Pretty simple and boring, huh? Lol.

The Sound of Music

I love musicals and I love The Sound of Music! I’ve always dreamt of becoming a Von Trapp child haha but I don’t have the voice for it. I can do Do-Re-Mi and that’s just about it. Literally just the do-re-mi part hahaha! The hills are alive starting October 9 – December 11, 2011 at Newport Performing Arts Theatre (Resorts World Manila). Visit TicketWorld for more info.

PKPH: Jam n’ Eggs Sesh

WHAT: JAM N’ EGGS: PKPH Open Jam Session on a Sunday morning. Open jam sessions are FREE for EVERYONE who wants to experience parkour and share their knowledge to others. This is a time to train with the parkour community and meet new people.

WHERE: Quezon City Memorial Circle ( http://i56.tinypic.com/24ngy0l.jpg ) Meet at the BIG BOOKS

WHEN: EVERY LAST SUNDAY MORNING OF THE MONTH starting this August 28. Meet starts at 7am but feel free to come early.

WHAT TO BRING: Change of clothes, Hydration/Water, a humble heart and an open mind. Also, Bring Food!

WHY: Personal Training is very important but so is being in a community. Jam n’ Eggs is an open session where practitioners of different levels can get together, train together, and most importantly, help each other to be better traceurs. Keeping community development and fellowship in mind, every Jam n’ eggs session will culminate in a mini salo-salo type get-together. To eat (not too much hopefully), relax, and get to know the Parkour community. Bring snacks! It doesn’t have to be a lot or for sharing/for everyone. PKPH might also have somethings for you guys!

REMINDERS: Open Jam is postponed if it rains hard for everyone’s safety. Please be cautious and aware of your environment and do not attract attention. etc. First and foremost, TRAIN SAFE.

If it rains, Jam N’ Eggs will be postponed to the next sunday.
If it rains again, Ground Zero will resume the following week and we’ll have to wait for the end of the month for the next Jam N’ Eggs.
Don’t forget to bring food!

Catwalk Cosmetics

Almost forgot I had this hehe :P Got this like last week I think (I forgot) and I’m super excited to play with it! Catwalk Cosmetics is owned by fashion and beauty blogger, Marj Sia. I don’t really need another palette like this since I have a couple from Coastal Scents, but ye I gave in anyways.
The palette has 15 eyeshadows that you can use for day & night looks and 3 blushes:
Smokey (Pearl White, Disco Silver, Black Noir)
Neutral (Copper, Juicy Orange, Hello Yellow, Cocoa Brown)
Cool (Lime Green, Green Tea, Powder Blue, Royal Blue, Teal)
Warm (Geisha Red, Lollipop Pink, Purple Lotus)
3 Blush Shades: Salmon, Tangerine, Rose
I got the Runway Palette with a special promo price of P600 (+50 shipping) but it’s fairly cheap for P1,100 too and you get huge pans! They’re pretty pigmented as well! Few colors are a bit chalky tho and you will get fall outs but that’s fine; you can deal with it later. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance eyeshadow primer for the swatches below so the color would really pop out and did like 2-3 swipes, pretty decent I’d say.
Makeup tip: Always test eyeshadows before buying them. The color and pigment should both be strong – even on neutral colors. Without these two components you will forever be trying to build up color and intensity and that means using up your eyeshadow way too fast – and no one wants that!

For Orders, call or text Marj Sia (+63917-8929289).

Weekend Roundup

Sorry.. been busy lately so I will just post a roundup of what happened these past few days :P
Aug. 19th: Went to Harvey Potter’s 8th birthday party

With my little boyfie, Joaquin (:

Aug. 20th: Watched Way Back Home with my parents and Bel. It was a nice movie and Julia Montes is an awesome actress. Could be the next Claudine Baretto..
Aug. 21st: Sunday, Family Day! We went to Tagaytay.. originally to watch my brother play at Splendido Golf Club but pup dint want to bother him so we had lunch at The Boutique then merienda at Antonio’s instead. I love Antonio’s.. the place is so beautiful and quiet. You really can relax and have fun with your family there! But make sure to call for a reservation first for a hassle-free dining experience.

Yummy waffles from Solenn Heussaff! YES!

If you love milk and other milk products.. you gotta try Mr. Moo’s!

Cos Carlo wants me to take a photo of his chucks haha, there. Arte.
Oh.. and an update on my Lash Experiment Week 2: decided to post the result on the 8th week instead since that’s what it says in the product description and I’ve noticed no significant change anyways. So just wait up for that post after the experience.
OOTD: Shirt dress, ZARA | hotpants, Topshop | Flats, Suelas | Bag, Chanel | Aviators, Chanel | Watch, Omega
Aug. 22nd: Since my parents dint allow me to stay the night at Casa Ibiza (Antipolo), Carlo had to pick me up after work… but ye, I had so much fun! We had an awesome time cos we were the only ones there, as in! I love Carlo’s officemates.. they are really nice and fun to be with! Wasn’t really gonna swim too but we were all drinking and it started raining so I asked one of his mates if she has an extra suit with her and she did so I borrowed it even if it’s kinda big hihi! Had the worst headache tho but thank goodness I woke up early for work today and was feeling fine.
Aug 23rd: Pilates Tuesdays was cancelled, bummer. Missed two sesh already. I feel really sloppy and guilty :( Guess I’ll just go to the movies with my parents tonight and do some Random Abs if I’m not that tired :P I know, I know.. My weekend wasn’t that interesting at all for some of you guys but I’m grateful and happy that I was able to spend it with my family since we rarely go out together. Hope y’all had a wonderful weekend as well and have a blessed week ahead!
